Cochise Cowboy Poetry and Music Gathering

About Us

The first full weekend in February every year, over 40 western musicians and cowboy poets gather in Sierra Vista for the annual Cochise Cowboy Poetry & Music Gathering (CCPMG) held at Buena High School/Performing Arts Center. These artists tell their tales of the Old West and ranch/cowboy life in songs, poems and stories. The CCPMG is a 501c(3) non-profit organization whose purpose is to educate children in the local school systems about the cowboy lifestyle and perpetuate interest in our western heritage.
